The Jesus Shepherd Tree

When God created the heavens and the earth, He must have had mankind's well being in mind all along. And certainly one of His most marvelous creations was the tree. Trees sustain life on this planet and without them mankind would probably be no more. When you stop to consider all the aspects of our lives which depend on the tree, it is simply an Amazing Gift which God bestowed upon us.

They provide us with food and shelter. They still provide heat for millions of homes around the globe. They gives us a means of feeding ourselves a hot meal if we don't have another source for cooking our food. They provide us with shelter from the blistering rays of a summer sun and provide a home for a plethora of wildlife. And perhaps the very most significant aspect of God's gift is the life-giving oxygen we breathe.

Poets have waxed of it's beauty and grace. Birds sing to us from it's lofty branches. The leaves which fall as the seasons change may be recycled to mother earth as one of the very best means of renewal. Many of the medicines which cure us of sickness and injury are the product of a tree and many of it's purposes we will never know. In many places man has placed his greed for dollar and lust for fine products of wood ahead of the technology that might find a cure for cancer or other devastating diseases in the very forests which are rapidly being depleted. In other places around the globe the trees are becoming ill, diseased and dying due to the environmental sins of mankind. Trees are truly one of God's greatest gifts of creation.

How could the "big bang" have produced a life sustaining tree?

The Bible speaks of the tree in an endearing sense and often His children are compared to His trees. Jesus spoke of trees in parables which foretell of His return several times in the New Testament.

Is God's Hand involved with this tree in some manner other than providing food and water?

We have all seen the painting of Jesus cradling a lamb in His arms. That is the sense one is said to derive when seeing the phenomenal Jesus Shepherd Tree in Quincy's Calvary Cemetery.

Our Lord Put All These Trees Here
Our Lord Put All These Trees Here For Us To Enjoy, Use For Homes , Food And I Could Not Mention All The Other Things That The Tree Could Be Used For.
My Feelings Is Our LORD Did Not Put These Trees Here For Them To Slaughter And Cut As long As They Can Get The Almighty Dollar For Them. The Way They Are Cutting Our Timber And Clearing To The Bare Ground, Well It Want Be Much Longer Before We Won't Have A Tree For Shade Much Less Anything Else.It Is A Downright Shame That People Are So WeekMinded To Destroy All The Trees ,"JUST FOR THE ALMIGHTY DOLLAR" GOD HELP THEM FOR BEING SO WEEK MINDED.

Jesus holding the lamb, I believe!
I just saw it on your site for the first time today. I was able to make it
out within a few seconds of looking at it (without even seeing the black and
white copy below it).
I feel that it is truly a message from our Lord.
Also, I used to live an apartment while I was in a stormy, ungodly
relationship, and there was a tree across the driveway outside of my living
room window. As soon as I opened my window blinds in the morning, it seemed
that the tree was staring right at me. On this tree, I could see as plain as
day a "goblin" or "demon" and it was terrifying. I tried to make it look
like something else just so it wouldn't look so disturbing to me, but I
couldn't. Finally, one day, I saw a gardener outside with his saw, and asked
him to shave off the tree in that area so that I wouldn't see the image. He
did, but after he had left, it seems that I could still make out that image.
It was a message to me, I felt, that my life was not right, and I am no
longer there or in that situation.
So, I feel that God sends us messages in varying in ways and believe in this
image of Jesus holding the lamb.
God bless,

Jesus our Lord holding one of his sheep
Just a line to let you know that the tree surely does look like Jesus our
Lord holding one of his sheep(we are his sheep) and thank you for doing a web
site to share with all of cyber space. May the Lord keep you in the palm of
his hand.

Now I have proof!!
It is amazing! You've heard that God works in His own time-I know, just looking at that tree, that this is true. About 5 yrs ago, my husband( a long distance truckdriver) worked for a company based in Quincy, Il. It was a very good job.
After his grandmother died, He decided that he'd like to be closer to his family, so we moved into her home. It was not a good move, so after 9 mos. we moved out, amid many family problems. He still had this job. We moved to this area where we are now, and He and I would fight on an average of once a week (at least when he was home). His job brought him back to the area we had lived in and he blamed our move on my not being able to get along w/ his family. I told him it was either the job- or me. He quit the job. I worked hard at getting along w/ his family and, thankfully, we are all quite happy now. My husband worked for 3 different co.s in the years that past, and we were sinking evermore into debt. I began praying for help about a yr& a1/2. ago. 3 wks into my prayers, my husband had an urge to call this co. from Quincy and "see how they were doing". The urge became a nag and the nag became a compulsion. So he called.
They asked him back, with a pay raise! Since then he has been able to see his family, regularly and our financial horizions are looking MUCH better! I knew God was out there in Quincy--Now I have proof!!

I live in Quincy, Illinois
I live in Quincy, Illinois and was very glad to find this information by WebTV.
Of course i went out to see the tree like thousands of others. It definitely did
look like Jesus standing there holding a lamb in His arms.
May God richly bless you for showing Him to the world.

Photos of the tree are awesome.
I think the photos of the tree are awesome. I would love to see that tree in
person but I am on the west coast. I do plan on taking a trip across the
U.S. so then maybe I can come and see it.
Thank you for sharing those photos on line for those of us who can't get
there in person right away. God Bless you and your ministry to the non-believers,

A Pathetic Idiot
A friend of mine sent me your "Jesus Tree" site, and I just had to respond.
I'm not sure I've ever seen anything more simple-minded and sad in my life.
The text is pathetic enough, but do you actually see some kind of "vision" in
the knot on that tree? You, my friend, are a superstitious idiot. I surely
hope you don't have any children.

Jesus Is Alive
The picture I just saw was another sign to me that Jesus Is Alive.
He is present here and now. What a gift He gives us to share these pictures with us.
Thank you Lord for allowing us this privilege to see You. I have a similar picture with Our Blessed Mother holding a baby on the leaves of a tree in Conyer's Georgia.
Blessed Be His Holy Name. Thank you so much for your site, it has truly been blessed by Our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ, and has been such a blessing to me,
I am anxious to share these pictures with my kids.
