What is going on here Lord
What can a mortal do
Why can't a child not even go
To church to worship you

Must they always live in fear
That satan will come in
And take away the very life
That You have saved from sin

I know it must be satan's way
To try and stop Your own
But surely he must realize
You take Your children home

He can take away their body
And spill their precious blood
But to take them in a House of God
To kill them where they stood

We cannot let him stop the kids
Please let Your children pray
Put Your arms around them
From evil let them stay

So moms and dads you taught them right
The Golden Rule to live
You shouldn't have to teach them
Their life they'd have to give

And to the families in Ft. Worth
Your child has gone to be
Wrapped in the cradle of His arms
For all eternity

Please Let Your Children Pray
